If you had the power to make everyone read one book, which book would you choose?
Why?

I think I’d have to pick TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD by the esteemed Harper Lee. I’m certainly not the only one for whom this book tops my “best books ever” list, but when I first read this is eighth grade, I was so moved by it that I wrote Harper Lee a letter. I never heard back, but I’ve never forgotten the emotions that story stirred in me and it’s been a beautiful read when I’ve reread it through the decades.

Imagine if people could read and understand that difference is something to embrace, that kindness matters, and that people are here to love.

I stumbled upon this graphic and loved the question – thanks to Visual Quill.
