Forks, Knives and Spoons by Leah DeCesare

It follows Amy York and her roommate Veronica through college and the years after. The title of the book is clearly brought up in the first few chapters with it being an analogy of how boys are either forks, knives or spoons. This was really fascinating and had me thinking, how would I categorize the guys I’ve dated in the past?

The cover was cute and had the same font used at each chapter beginning with the little heart. I also really loved that it was set in the late 80’s and had music listed from that era and other tidbits that are reminiscent of the late 80s and early 90s.

Overall this was a coming of age light read that covers romance, heartbreak, dating, sororities, college life, and post-college. This would definitely be fun to read around Valentines or as a summer beach read!  I gave this book 4/5 stars. Read more…
